About Rob
As your local candidate and current Councillor for Balmoral Ward, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.
Having represented you and the community as your local Councillor over the last four years, I am again seeking your support for re-election to Council.
Since being elected in 2018, I have met and spoken with many residents across the Ward, and am pleased with what we have been able to achieve by working together. As your representative, I have advocated strongly on your behalf and as a result we have seen an increased investment within our community.
From road resurfacing, upgrading of pathways, and the significant development of parks and reserves, through to the upgrades within our library, recreation centres, and community buildings; I have been committed to the continual improvement of our local area.
As a married father of three, and working within the finance sector, I see firsthand the cost-of-living pressures faced by residents. This is why I have consistently voted to keep rates low, provided in-principal support to rate capping, and called for the reduction of debt within Council.
Our clubs, churches, and community organisations play a valuable role in supporting our community. Having been actively involved for many years with not-for-profit groups, I understand how critical they are in providing services and support for our residents, as well as bringing local communities together. I will continue to support our groups, and the valuable contributions they make.
I remain hardworking, energetic, and focused on the continued improvement of our community. I am committed to serving with honesty and integrity, and will continue to hold my colleagues to the same high standard.
With your vote and support, I will continue to strive towards lower debt, sound financial management, and a council focused on delivering core services.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my website, information will be update regularly, so check back during the campaign; in the meantime please don’t hesitate to contact me.
